Over the years Linwell Farms has evolved, as we have evolved, into an embodiment of principles we believe in: gardening and growing our own food. What started as a tongue-in-cheek name we gave to a small, typical vegetable garden at our home in Uptown Charlotte’s Wilmore neighborhood grew over the years into what we have now, 102 acres in the mountains of North Carolina. We moved a couple times in between, each time gardening and growing more of our own food, learning techniques to utilize smaller spaces, broadening our understanding of how we could create edible landscaping rather than traditional landscaping, and finally bringing these great ingredients into the kitchen and onto the stove or grill.
